Free online tools
Canva : design tool to design images, montages and other visual creations. It adds images, logos, models, colors, text and customizes each of these elements. This tool also allows you to create a design from custom dimensions.
Photopea : online photo editing software similar to Photoshop. It allows you to create designs, edit photos, add text and customize each of these elements. This tool also allows you to check the defects, size, colorimetry mode and other parameters important for creating your file.
GIMP.
Adobe Graphics Software Suite
Photoshop : graphic creation software and photo editing allowing to create patterns repeated or placed easily. This very comprehensive tool has a very large number of features.
Illustrator : vector graphics software. Illustrator is especially used for creating vector drawing (logo, icon, drawing, typography).
Procreate : graphic creation application allowing to design drawings, paintings or digital illustrations on tablet.
Prerequisites to create a custom pattern

Basic knowledge to know before creating a file.
- Colorimetric mode
CMYK : CMYK colorimetry mode (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) is the mode for printing.
RGB : The colorimetry mode RGB (Red, Green, Blue) or RGB is the mode used by default not screens. This is the mode we recommend for creating your design so that once printed, it is as similar as possible to your screen.
Nevertheless, you are free to use the colorimetry mode you want.
However, regardless of the colorimetry mode chosen, it is imperative to apply an ICC color profile.
2. Format
JPEG : a JPEG file is represented by a compressed pixel image.
TIFF : a TIFF file is represented by a large file using a lossless compression method, which preserves image data.
PDF : a PDF file is represented by a file that remains very clear if it is enlarged.
PNG : a PNG file is a pixelized image format suitable for transparent, high quality backgrounds.
Find below each product file the file format adapted to the selected product.
3. Dimensions
To know the dimensions of a file under GIMP, Photopea (free tool) or Photoshop:
- Open your file under the software
- Click Image
- Choose "Picture Size"
- Choose "Centimeter"
Make sure you don't take into account what the online "pixel to cm converters" say, and trust only graphics software.

We advise you to check the colorimetry mode, format and dimensions of the images you download.
Our tips for creating an original and impacting pattern
1. Associate multiple colors
Create a colour palette easily using Adobe Color. Look for complementary, similar or composite colors from the main color of your design.
2. Create font combinations
Using tools like Canva or FontJoy, easily create typographical associations for your custom designs.
Verification of motif before sending to printing
Before sending your pattern to our custom textile printing platform, it is important to check your files carefully.
To do this, we invite you to check the printing parameters indicated on the product sheet chosen by using the printing guide.
Once your file is checked, when you pass your order through our tools creating a repeat pattern or editing creation, you will get a preview of your pattern before printing.
This overview may serve as a BAT, but be careful, micro-defaults (repetition problem) are not always seen on the screen. This is why we recommend you always make sure to order a custom 50cm sample if you are not sure of the result.
