What is digital printing?
THE'digital printing textile is a printing process that has the function of printing a pattern on a textile (clothing or fabric) using an HD printer. It is a fast-growing business sector that enables everyone's ideas to be realized.
There are different printing technologies on fabric. At Tissus Print, we use 3 distinct digital printing processes.
1. Sublimation printing by transfer
First of all, there is the'sublimation printing by transfer. It is a two-step printing system. The first is to print on paper in mirror mode.
The second will transfer the printed pattern to the fabric, thanks to the heat and pressure of a grille. This printing process applies only to polyester printed fabric.
Sublimation by transfer printing is a very efficient technique that allows to obtain brilliant colors, faithful to the digital file.
2. Direct printing
Then we have the'live sublimation printing. This textile printing technique applies only to fabrics natural like cotton, silk or linen. As its name indicates, here the impression is made directly on the fabric.
Attention, the fabric must have been treated in advance so that the colors are as intense as the file and the fabric retains all its softness.
3. DTF printing
THE'dTF printing is a printing technique that applies to transparent PET film. After printing, it can be marked on any textile support: t-shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, cap; and on any material: natural, synthetic, blend.
Your fabric supplier Tissus Print is specialized in textile printing sublimation by transfer and live. Thanks to our expertise in fabric, and thanks to our machines, we can guarantee you a printing quality high-end.
